Dear Landlords/Tenants,
On April 19th, 2009, we received a notice from the Dragon Villas Club who operates the shuttle bus service, to inform us that they would terminate their current contract ahead of time due to managerial problems. The contract which runs until May19th, 2009, will now be terminated on April 27th, 2009.
After receiving the notification, the Owners¡¯ Committee instructed us to find a suitable replacement company to run the daily shuttle bus service. After careful consideration, the Owners' Committee decided to cooperate with the Yinjian International Travelling Co.,Ltd., The transport company was founded in 2001and is located in Houshayu town in Shunyi District. The company belongs to the Yinjian Investment group,. has a registered capital of Rmb50 million and more than 800 buses. It was assigned by the government to service the 2008 Olympic Games.
According to the shuttle bus statistics; from January to March 2009, 3302 persons took the bus from Monday to Friday during the last 90 days. 837 persons took the bus on weekends. Only 3.22 persons from Monday to Friday and 2.01 persons on weekends on average and only 2.87 persons take the bus on average every day. In other words, the utilization of the shuttle bus is very low. Some landlords have suggested to decrease the number shuttle bus runs to reduce the cost and improve the management fee situation in order to maintain a good service quality.
In view of these facts and other practical requests, the approval by the Owner's Committee of Yinjian International Travelling Co. Ltd which will provide 15 seater ¡°Istana¡± busses from April 28th, 2009. The current time schedule will not be changed. Please note that the buses will be marked "Dragon Villas" for clear identification.
As this is the first time we will cooperate with this Transport company, we will be supervising and evaluating their service for the first month. They would therefore operate under a temporary contract. The Owners' Committee will collect opinions from residents and then hold a meeting to discuss the operation program of the shuttle bus. We welcome all to forward opinions and advice for the shuttle bus service.
Please note: when taking the shuttle bus, please take the Landlord/Tenant Card, The Employee Card (Bus Card)
